West Bend 76006 Rotary Snack Oven Review

I'm glad we bought this oven. It makes my kitchen look a lot better than a toaster oven that I used for the same purpose, heating up frozen pizza, snack and such. It also cook faster and more evenly than regular oven. West Bend has another version of this oven for almost double the price. I almost picked the other oven but after some research, I found that this one does the same job as the new version and cost a lot lest. 4 stars because the inside is a bit low, I burned a few snack. Have to get used to it a bit more.

Cuisinart PIZ-100 Stainless-Steel Electric 12-Inch Pizza Oven Review

Cuisinart PIZ-100 Stainless-Steel Electric 12 inch Pizza Oven
Average Reviews:

I wanted to like the oven BUT to be a pizza oven you need good heat and a good stone.

I make my own pizza dough and use my normal oven with a 1/2 inch thick stone. I wanted this oven because I could put it outside and not heat up the house pre heating the oven...

this oven heats to 450 and I was hoping the small size would be sufficient... but the top will be almost burnt before the dough is proper... also it took the pizza about 20 minutes to cook while my normal oven did it in about 10 ... this longer cooking time can yield a harder crust than desired....

Maybe for normal frozen pizza this oven is okay but if you make your own dough and pizza you will not get the heat you need ..... bummer

Hamilton Beach 31199R Countertop 1.1-Cubic-Foot Convection Oven with Optional Rotisserie Review

Hamilton Beach 31199R Countertop 1.1-Cubic-Foot Convection Oven with Optional Rotisserie

Before buying this particular oven, I read as many product reviews as could be found. They were for a similar Hamilton Beach Oven but not this exact one.And many were quite negative. But it seemed to be just what I wanted. This would be my third countertop oven. The first one lasted over 25 years. The second one, only about 8 years. It arrived earlier than predicted, always a plus.I burned every single thing I put in it for the first week. Not the oven's fault.I'm laughing as I write this.It is so efficient and works so well and I forgot the times on the previous oven were due to it's "dying" process. So, didn't think to compensate for a "new" oven.Well, now I'm doing much better and things are marvelous from this little jewel.Cookies, main dishes, heating up sauces quickly, (I just moved, gave away my microwave and decided not to buy another), sandwiches, even toast from atisan breads are perfectly cooked. So all the burnt foods were obviously "operator error".

At first, I worried what oven ware would fit into it but no worries.I now have a very tall stack of things that will fit comfortably in this oven including several 12-inch glass baking dishes for pizza and cookies. I only had to buy cookie sheets as all the rest (bread pans, muffin tins, springform cake pan, angelfood cake pan, etc) all fit inside very nicely. And best of all, the really large and oversized items can be given away, taking up less storage space in a space-challenged apt.

I would buy this oven again and again. It's the best. Oh, yes, the "bell" rings at the completion of cooking times and I can hear it in the most distant places of this apt. We've had really hot weather this summer and I've so appreciated only having to heat the kitchen for very few minutes to cook meals then a very quick cool down afterwards.I've not even turned on the large stove/oven that is built in to this apt.And I don't plan to, either. This oven is all I need.Oh, yes, I've been using it since the end of July 2007 - slightly under a month and with daily usage.

Other highlights include a power indicator light, a see-through window for checking on food at a glance, a stay-cool handle, and an easy-to-clean design. Accessories include two oven racks, two baking pans, a broil rack, and a slide-out crumb/drip tray, as well as a rotisserie skewer and a rotisserie lifter. Not sure where to start? Hamilton Beach throws in a user manual with recipes for herb-rubbed chicken, baked potatoes, meat loaf, pumpkin cookies, muffins, and much more. Dishwasher-safe parts make cleanup a snap, and the stainless-steel front-panel design looks great in any kitchen. The countertop oven measures approximately 12-1/2 by 17-1/2 by 13-2/3 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.

Proctor-Silex 31120 Pizza Oven Review

Proctor-Silex 31120 Pizza Oven
Average Reviews:

You can fit a 9" brownie pan or a pizza, and it doesn't take up a huge amount of space on the counter, tho it is deep.Put it somewhere where you don't want to use the space in front of it for working. It's big for just making one slice of toast, but as soon as you put a couple of English muffins in there, you're glad you have the room. The oven *does* have a 450 degree setting, I don't know what the earlier review was about. My one complaint is minor, and that is, it's a tiny bit complicated to make toast: you have to set the temperature dial all the way past broil to toast, then push the timer past 10 and back to one of the squares that indicate either darker toast or lighter toast, and it isn't marked that that is even what they are, you have to read the manual. But, it has an easy-to-remove crumb tray and I figure that's an even trade.I just leave the dial on "toast" unless I'm using it to bake or broil.
