(More customer reviews)I bought this oven because of the large interior to replace another brand with a smaller inside. We needed one to hold a 1 1/2 qt Corning-ware baking dish with its lid on. It works great for that and baking in general, but it is terrible at toasting bread because the heating elements do not stay on like a regular toaster; they cycle on and off like an annoying electrical stove. Not only that, but they take a long time to heat up to toasting temperature, even after ensuring that the settings are correct [you have to remember to set two knobs]. When the toast is finally ready [?], it is more like baked through than toasted on the surface. Now I'm debating whether or not to buy a regular toaster for when I want toast ... when the whole idea of a toaster oven is to eliminate one appliance.

Purchased at Target for $54.00 at about half of a comparable "higher end" machine. This more than does the job and at this price and free shipping, I would not hesitate.

(More customer reviews)I have to say, I was a bit dismayed by some of the other reviews I read, but those seem to be folly (or older models). The fan for the convection could be a little more substantial, but it does what it says, and has simple dials instead of any digital controls.I work with computers all day, and still don't see the mix between digital things and heat.It does not have a single toast option, but that's the case with most EuroProX ovens.Don't be fooled; this isn't huge has room for my largest casserole dish without an issue!It's "just enough" larger than most other countertop ovens!Bakes, heats well, to the point that I don't use the big wall oven unless necessary. Pick the maximum time for most directions when heating pizzas and things, and you will be ok. The porcelain bake pan is a nice include, but I'd wish they had two wire racks included, since it's big enough for two at once.Nice stainless finish looks very simple and classy and matches the rest of our appliances.

(More customer reviews)I bought this toaster about 6 months ago from Amazon without reading the reviews.Shortly before it got here I noticed the review section and read all the horrible reviews for this toaster and became really concerned that the toaster wouldn't work properly.It came about six months ago, I've used it pretty much every day since then and it works just fine.No weird, uneven toast.No sticky handle. None of the scary stuff in the other reviews.Its pretty, and it works.Its a toaster.

(More customer reviews)Excellent toaster-oven for the the price.Oven temp is withing 10 degrees of setting at mid range and at mex temp.Perfect size for two people.Toasting is always perfectly even.External surfaces stay relatively cool.Well constructed with smooth operation of the controls and door.I did not give it 5 stars because the door is not connected to the tray or rack to bring it out a little when the door is opened.

(More customer reviews)Pros:large glass door and glass top to view cooking in progress, side handles make transporting easy, preheat takes 9 minutes or less, two inch thick vented sides cool oven quickly after cooking, has three setting knobs: timer, temperature gauge, and broil/toast/warm/bake (a real treat for anyone who has been mistreated by malfunctioning, expensive electronic sensor pads and boards on other appliances).It comes with 2-piece broiler tray, cookie sheet and reversible rack that adds additional rack setting choices.Rounded back fits 12" pizzas.This rescued me on Thanksgiving when my big oven broke. I made a perfect green bean casserole inside while warming rolls in glass cookware I placed on a rack on top.I've owned it less than a month, and, because of Thanksgiving, I can't wait to find out what else it can do well!
Cons:because it's a toaster oven, heating elements are closer to food than in a large conventional oven and you have to monitor carefully to prevent overcooking, (but that's true of all toaster ovens and well-placed glass on this model makes monitoring easy).I love this oven!
