They crisp up fast foods from the freezer wonderfully and cook meat juicy on the outside and browned well on the outside. you can cook multiple things at one time. put items in foil like vegatables with seasonings and cookyour meat and potatoes also. for teens and singles its the best. you can cook a whole meal easily and quickly. cleanup is ok. the nonstick surfaces aren't as nonstick as they could be.pans and racks have to be soaked a little to get clean but they can be put in the dishwasher.

(More customer reviews)For some reason, the nameplate HAMILTON BEACH never clicked with me as an appliance super star, or even star. I stand corrected. I took a flier and bought this thinking it would probably go back. I'd done the same with other more expensive and disappointing toaster ovens so hope was not high.
This oven has been a happy surprise. My acid test is this; one toasted piece of bread. How even is the brown. If it goes well here, all else will follow. I'm very happily surprised by the result and hope for a long life from this little box. The overall build quality is good. My only reservation would be - how long will the twisting timer last. It could become an issue, but I think that would happen far down the road. A toast to H.B.

(More customer reviews)I saw the Fagor 12 Quart Halogen Tabletop oven on QVC.I saw it on Amazon for a great price, and no shipping!I was wondering if this was another gimmick.I use it to make dinners every evening for my husband and I.The meat is never dry and it tastes delicious.I love cooking again because of the shorter cooking time and the cleanup is a breeze.We are eating healthier now, and the food tastes amazing.Fagor is a pretty good brand, and I wanted to simplify my life....It can't get any simpler than this. :-)

(More customer reviews)I absolutely love this oven. I owned one nu wave oven before. But this oven is much better. It heats up much faster than nu wave oven. The second you turn it on, you can feel the heat.
Very solid see through glass bowl, much better than the cheap PC bowl that nu wave oven has. Health is a big issue we can not ignore. You always have the risk to take in polymerizer when using plastic as food containers. Although plastic is much cheaper to make than glass bowl. Be responsible to yourself and the loved ones you give this gift to.
Use it, love it and use it more. Highly recommend!!

Broiler doesn't get hot enough to broil anything.

Toaster is fabulous at burning the edges of your bread to crisp while leaving the rest appearing not to have been toasted at all.

On a more positive note, the door doesn't make any noise when you slam it shut.

(More customer reviews)This "convection" toaster oven has a fan with all the power and focus of a 1 year old blowing out his birthday candle.Said fan is quite effective at rattling the flimsy (like the rest of the toaster) crumb tray, resulting in a quite annoying and loud rattle anytime the unit is set to convection.The fan also happens to blow directly along where there are no heating elements, thus what little air it manages to blow in from outside serves quite effectively to not heat whatever you're trying to heat.I guess they didn't bother to hire an engineer in designing this thing as to be effective at convecting, the fan really needed to blow across a heated element to then blow hot air over the food.C'mon guys, I hear there are unemployed engineers looking for jobs, you couldn't find one?

What is good about it is that the inside is aluminum, which is better than if it were a teflon coated material from a health standpoint.Why didn't theymake the inside stainless?Probably the same reason they had it built in China from the thinnest gauge sheet they could get away with, it's cheaper.

This is the first item I've ever returned to Amazon, it was that bad.
Why did I give it two stars?Because it heats things so I guess it fulfills its basic functionality.It is also not ugly so I guess if you want an appliance that you don't need to use or are just dressing a set for a commercial or something, this would be a good prop.

To be fair, the part below applies to most toasters of this type:
It, like many others in its class also only has two heating rods beneath the food thus if you are trying to toast bread you will end up with bread toasted on the edges and only marginally so in the middle.Continuing with the bread, because of the wide separation between the upper heating elements and the bread, your bread will likely burn on the bottom and be slightly golden on the top.Thus if you want to toast bread evenly, you will need to babysit it and turn it over by hand a number of times during the toasting process, good luck doing this without burning your hand.

(More customer reviews)Cooks well and evenly -- I even believe the fan shaves off may be five minutes of cook time. Seems well built and knobs are easy to use/figure out. My only minus is with the main oven rack. It seems a little short or flimsy as when any weight is applied and then it is slid in/out, it comes off of the track. I haven't had any food fall as it gets wedged low. It's just annoying and may eventually scrape the interior oven coating.
