(More customer reviews)After disappointing results over the years with a number of fancy toasters that just didn't toast, I finally decided to try this inexpensive but highly rated Sunbeam. The 4-slice model that I bought has two separate sets of controls, rather than a pair of oversize slots as some 4-slice toasters do. This is a great design feature when two people like different doneness. Toasting fairly rapid, and the results have been spot on--no need to "retoast". The recommendation is a 12" clearance above the toaster to avoid heat damage to cabinets, but the Sunbeam is extremely light weight, despite its bulky appearance, so it's easy to move away from hanging cabinets, if necessary. The Sunbeam 4-slice was a good choice, and I'm very happy with it.
